PYLE Marnix – Unexpectedly, at his home, Frankton, on Monday, 11 December 2023, aged 68 years.  Loved partner of Roslind Nyambar (Malaysia), loved father of Chelsea, loved brother and brother-in-law of Sunny and Allan Panting (Wanaka), and a loved uncle of Nicola, Karyn, Richard, and their families. A service to celebrate Marnix’s life will be held in St Margaret’s Church Hall, corner of Ross and McBride Street, Frankton, on Saturday, 16 December, at 1.30pm, followed by light refreshments.  Livestream link available at Messages to 22 Marina Drive, Frankton, Queenstown 9300 - Southern Lakes Funerals, Queenstown, FDANZ

Condolences to Rosalind and family, a very sad day in the loss of Marnix who I had the privilege to work alongside while at Erickson Air Crane. He will be missed by many. Steve and Marion.

My deepest and sincerest condolences to Roslind, Chelsea and the family.

From the scores of Erickson Air-Crane Malaysia crew of whom we lived, worked, played and enjoyed life with Marnix over the many years at our second home in Malaysia we are truly proud and humbled to be a part of Marnix's life and as his extended family.

Marnix was blessed with being one of the most kindest gentlemen on earth and will be remembered by us for the depth of warmth and generosity he gave to all of us.

The memories of Marnix will be with us forever.

My sincererest condolences! Marnix was a a great professional, a kind soul and a true gentleman. It is not easy to return the love that Marnix gave to us all. He will be greately missed. Godspeed Chief!
