DRECKOW, Edward Martin (Ted) – Peacefully, on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Castlewood Nursing Home, Alexandra, aged 97 years. Dearly beloved husband of Florence (Flo)*, loving father and father-in-law of Carolyn*, Kristine, Neil, Tracey and David, much loved Grandad of Daniel and Hana, Kate and Brendan; Gordon and Rachel, Jesyka and Andrew, Simon; Tory and Lianne, Lahn and Jaz, very much loved great-Grandad of Marcus, Veronica, Kora, Rome, Lily, Antonia, Jack*, Isabella and Ava. Special thanks to the Staff at Castlewood for the Love and Care given to Ted. A service to celebrate Ted’s life will be held in St Enoch’s Church, 12 Centennial Avenue, Alexandra, on Friday, 19 January, at 1pm, followed by interment in Alexandra cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be left at the service to Friends of Dunstan Hospital.
