I knew Sarah growing up as a child in Garston, the big sister of my lovely friend and classmate Janet. Sarah was so kind and gentle, funny, smart and very beautiful, inside and out. She accepted the younger kids and was always welcoming and generous - a wonderful big sister to many of us. She will be missed. I want to acknowledge the kindness and support of the Copeland family as we were growing up. Kevin, Lorraine, Sarah, Richard and Janet were superb friends and neighbours to my parents Kit and Des, and my sisters and brother. RIP dear Sarah. Sendng love to all the family.

We will always remember Sarah for her bubbly personality, her friendly smile, her genuine kindness and always wearing the red lippy.  Sarah was truly someone who was liked by everyone who met her. Cheerful and always keen for a catch-up, Sarah brought warmth and positivity wherever she went.

It was a pleasure to work alongside her at ASB Dunedin Branch. She brought such a friendly, welcoming vibe to the team, and her presence made our workplace brighter. We will both remember Sarah fondly.

Sending all our love and heartfelt thoughts to Sarah’s family during this incredibly difficult time.
