DAVERS, Robert Barbour (14 April 1935 - 14 September 2026)
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family with his favourite music playing softly beside him. On Monday 14 September 2026, aged 91 years. Dearly loved husband and friend of Elaine for 52 years. Loved father and father in law of Kenneth*, Blair and Michelle, Shaun and Maria, Anita and Richie. Very proud Grandad of Joshua, and Ryan; and Harm. Loved eldest son of John* and Mary* (Scotland) and son in law of Ken and Coral Pawsey (Christchurch)*. Sister and brother in law of Marion and Jack (Scotland), Brother and brother in law of John and Annette (Timaru), Raymond* and Alysoun Pawsey*. Loved uncle of all of his nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to all of the team at Windsor Park Care Home and Annette and the team at Wyndham Rest Home for their care of Robert. A service to celebrate Robert's life will be held at Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore on Friday 18 September at 2.30 pm followed by a private cremation.
