HUMPHRIES, Merle Alma (nee Beaton) - Peacefully, at Lakes District Hospital Frankton, on Friday, 21 August. 2026 aged 81 years. Dearly loved wife of Frank*, loved mother and mother-in-law of John and Lisa (Five Rivers), and Chris and Katrina, (Arrowtown). Cherished Nan of Rachel and Cody and Henry; Katelin; Bailey and Matthew. Loved daughter of Jock* and Alma* Beaton, cherished sister and sister-in-law of Rodger and Sue, Fay and Kevin. Adored by all her nieces and nephews. A service for Merle will be held in the Kingston Golf Club, 32 Gloucester Street, on Friday, August 28 at 1.00 pm, followed by light refreshments, thereafter burial at Kingston Cemetery, 3818 Kingston Road. Donations can be made for St John Frankton. Special thankyou to the nurses and Doctor Callum Stevenson for their care and compassion shown to Merle.
