MORRISON, Phyllis (Marjorie) (nee Shaw), of Waikaka Valley. Peacefully, surrounded by family at Ribbonwood Country Rest Home on Saturday, September 5, 2026, aged 87 years. Loved and cherished wife of George, loved Mum and mother-in-law of Donald and Brigette; Andrew and Lisa; Phil and Jah; adored Nana of Lochie, Dirk; Bryn, Kelly; Tanee, Neunglatai; and loved great-Nana of her 4 great grandchildren. Loved sister, sister-in-law and auntie of all her extended family.

A service to celebrate the life of Marj will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Ardwick Street, Gore on Thursday, September 10th, at 1.30pm, followed by refreshments, before a private cremation. What a treat to hear the stories from over the years. So much I remember well about her bubbly and welcoming self. Proverbs 31 was perfect for her, a true woman of worth.
