THOMSON Lois Dorothy Grace (nee McGrouther) - Passed gently, at Windsor Park Care Home Gore, on Friday June 19, 2026, aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late John, loved mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother of Suzanne and Chris, David, Michael, and Krista Loach (Christchurch); Alex and Jane, Dean, Julie, *Vanessa, and Glen; Robert and Phillipa, Tim, Sarah, Georgia and John; Malcolm, *Jim and Jeanie; John and Kate, Millie, Guy, and Jonty. Great Grandma of Lance, Peyton, Harrison, Mahia, Nyxyn, Mackenzie, Sophie, Alexia, *Hudson, Henry, Kate, Dominic, Lucas, and Delilah. Loved daughter of *Percy and *Grace McGrouther, adored big sister and sister in-law of Shirley and *Doug Stott, *Cliff and Jean, Joy and *Peter Roulston, *Howard and Elizabeth, and *Jim and Sandra. Loved by all her nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Lois's life will be held in the Tapanui Presbyterian Church, 1 Sussex Street, Tapanui, on Friday, 3 July at 1.00pm, followed by light refreshments.
