TWADDLE Len – Peacefully, surrounded by family, at Ripponburn Home, Cromwell, on Tuesday, 20 June 2023, aged 84 years. Loved husband of the late Barbara, treasured father, father-in-law, and Grandpa Len of Lynley and Bill (Melbourne); Raewyn and Paul, Louie and Carys (Southampton); Jillian, Molly, Ella, and Meta (Dunfermline); Diane and Mike, Keeleigh, Ryan, and Lani (Cromwell); Martin and Debbie (Kippen). A celebration of Len’s life will be held at Ripponburn Home, 94 Kawarau Gorge Road, Cromwell, on Monday, 26 June, at 1.30pm, private cremation to follow. When I think of Len, I can only think of Barbara at the same time. Len and Barbara. Barbara was so kind writing letters to my mum telling her of all your news and travels and of course, the farm. Then your Dad coming to speak with me at my mum's funeral 10 years ago. They were first cousins, born a generation apart, and he showed such love and respect in our conversation. But way before that, when some of you were not yet born and I was a child, coming out to Enfield to visit with my Grandma (Dolly) Twaddle and my Uncle Ron Twaddle. I have some memories of playing with little girls so I remember you today…
