NEWTON, Ivy Elizabeth (nee Holdom) – Peacefully at Ranui Care Home, Alexandra, on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in her 90^th year.  Dearly loved wife of the late Mervyn, loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Trevor and Lyn, Russell and Kylie, Terry and Suzanne, Dianne and Barry, loved and treasured Nana of her 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the incredible staff at both Ranui Care Home, and Dunstan Hospital, for the care, love and respect they have shown Mum over her last years. A service to celebrate Ivy’s life will be held in the Clyde Bowling Club, 11 Whitby Street, Clyde, on Monday, 2 February, at 1.30pm.
