I for one was more than privileged to have lived close by to Helen at Windsor Park Village. It was a delight to have lunch with her on a Monday and Tuesday in the Centre, where over time I learnt what a truly remarkable lady she was. Her ability to cope especially in the last few years never ceased to inspire me, never a complaint or rebuke, just that twinkle and a smile that she had become reknowned for. Remarkable I would say, much like the range of mountains that reach out from her beloved Kinloch. She loved talking about her times spent there. She loved conversation, not a subject was outside her sphere of knowledge. Humour was always present…
Deepest Sympathy to all Helen's family. Helen was the most wonderful caring & kind neighbour to our Mum Kathleen OConnor, who passed away 2 years ago. Cherished memories never fade. Erin Kirk & family.
