HAMILTON, Evelyn Janet –Peacefully, at home, on Saturday, 16 December, 2023, aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Stanley, cherished mother and mother-in-law of Colin and Barbara (Wellington), the late Maurice and Jean (Otama), Lindsay and Sheila (Paraparaumu), adored Grandma of Andrew and Melissa (Whitby), Elaina and Duncan Forbes (Pukerua Bay), Duncan (Wellington), Angus and Kayla (Otama), Moira and Steve Jones (Perth), Scott Taylor (California), and proud great-Grandma of Juliet, Thomas, Alexander, Archer, and Madeleine. A service to celebrate Evelyn’s life will be held at Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Friday, 22 December, at 1pm, followed by interment at Charlton Park Cemetery.
