FAIRBAIRN, David – Peacefully, surrounded by family, at Windsor Park Care Home, on Friday, June 12, 2026, aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret, loved father and father-in-law of Jan and Ian Wylie, Craig and Tania Fairbairn, loved Pop of Thomas and Nicola Wylie, Kate and Matt Bayliss; Melissa, Mathew, and Erin, Great-Pop of Georgia, Hunter, Alex, Ben, Sullivan, Ruby, Maggie, and Beauden. A service to celebrate David’s life will be held in Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Wednesday, June 17, at 11.00am, followed by refreshments, before the interment at Wyndham Cemetery.
