DAVIS, Charles Bruce (Charlie), Peacefully, and in his own time at Ribbonwood Country Home, Tapanui on Saturday, 11 November, 2023. Dearly loved and best friend of the late Shirley (Shirby), devoted Dad and father-in-law of Wanda and Daryl Whipps, Carl and Mel, and Donna (Dee), adored Grandad of Brittney and Shea; Alex and Hayley; Jodie, Shayden and Ashlee; Jake and Lauren and their partners, special great-Grandad of Skyla, Harvey, Weston, Lily and Lucas, special Big Charlie to little Charley, Stella and Alex. Cherished brother of Ken and Judy Michelles, the late Valerie, Jack and Claire, Diane and the late Norman Glennie; Rex, Dianne and the late Brenda; Oscar and Linda; Ewan and Glenda; Colin and Jen McDonald, and the late Glenys Cook, friend of Kayleen, and loved Uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Charlie’s life will be held at West Otago Community Centre, on Thursday, 16 November, at 2pm followed by interment at Tapanui Cemetery.
