TOMS, Catherine Margaret, - Unexpectedly but peacefully at home on Friday, October 25, 2024, aged 53 years. Dearly loved and cherished wife of Chris, adored and devoted Mum of Jackson, Annabelle and Meg, much loved daughter of Margaret and the late Brian Hall (Wanaka), loved sister and sister-in-law of Doug and Rachel Hall, Chris and Rochelle Hall, Mike and Nicole Hall, loved daughter-in-law of Bev and the late Arthur Toms (Roxburgh), loved sister-in-law of Debra and Jerry Pearse-Smith and Angela and Ian Cahil, loved Aunty Cath of all her nieces and nephews, and a good friend of many. A service to celebrate Cath’s life will be held in Roxburgh Town Hall, 132 Scotland Street, On Friday, 1st, November, at 2:00pm, followed by cremation. I am the Toms neighbour and was gutted to hear the news of her passing. She was a really lovely lady and I'm going to miss seeing her smiling face at the supermarket and waving out to her when she walked her dog. Condolences to Chris and the rest of her family. Chris and Liz Stuart. 😪❤️
Beautiful Cath, I can’t imagine going home to Roxburgh and not seeing you down the street or catching up for a wine. It seems like yesterday our babies were playing at playcentre. I’m so fortunate to have our last wine together in January. Sincerest condolences to Chris and your beautiful children. My heart is breaking for you all. Sending love and hugs to you all.

I am so very heartbroken to hear that we've lost Cath. What a tradgedy. My heart breaks for Chris, Jackson, Annabelle, & Meg. Cath was a wonderful friend to me...I was able to meet Cath and family when I lived seasonally in Rox. Our kids were similar ages, and we quickly found ourselves doing family BBQ's and holidays together. It was during some of these BBQ's that Chris and Cath introduced this American to 'Mutton bird' & whitebait. I'll never forget those experiences. Cath remained a friend to me after I returned to the USA...we both would check in with each other a couple of times a year. I will miss my friend dearly. Sending all of my …
