BURKE, Brian Michael - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Michael Burke on 7 January 2025, aged 78, in Queenstown. Beloved husband of Fay Burke (deceased), devoted father and father-in-law of Regan and Belinda and Karla and Jackson, cherished grandfather of Camden, Harper, Mila, and Brooke. He was a dear brother to Erin, Patrick, and John (deceased), adored uncle to both the Burke and Wilson Nieces and Nephews.

Brian was loved and respected by many and will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday, 14 January at 6.30pm. Followed by a Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 15 January at 11am at St. Joseph’s Church, 41 Melbourne Street, Queenstown. All who knew and loved Brian are warmly invited to join in celebrating his life and bidding him farewell. Thank you so much for providing us the access to watch the fitting farewell to Uncle Brian. He was a wonderful man much loved by us all. It is comforting to think of him reunited with Aunty Fay.

I’m sure he would have appreciated the cat’s attendance and subsequent removal. Condolences to you all.

Love from

Cousin Carla (The OG)
