HILLIS, Beverley Gay (Bev), (formerly of Seaward Downs) Peacefully at Bupa Windsor Park Care Home, Gore on Monday, September 14, 2026, aged 85 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Jim, loved Mum and mother-in-law of Gaye and Andrew Falconer, Bill and Sharon; loved Nana Bev of Thomas and Julia; Emma and Doug Caldwell, Archie and Stella; Sarah and Matt McClintock, George and Jack; Melanie and Josh Lilley, Charlotte, Harrison; and great-Nana Bev of Isla, Maya, Grace, Eva; Anna, Philip, Adam, and Luke. A loved sister of *Spencer and Edith Gardner, Junelle and Jim McMurtrie, Clare and *Douglas Falconer, Carol and Ronald Alderton, and loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Bev's life will be held in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore on Wednesday, 23rd September at 1.00pm followed by a cuppa before the interment at Edendale Cemetery.
