So sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. I have great memories of him when I was a parent helper at Deep Cove. Great fun, great entertainment and even greater food! I always had a hearty greeting from him whenever he saw me. Farewell Bob, rest easy. My sincere condolences to all of the family
Our sincere condolences to Ros & family, we are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Before we were married we both knew Bob separately. Quentin- Bob was my principal at Hedgehope school. He was a brilliant teacher and motivator. It could only be Mr Hughes that would convince you to wear a fairy tutu or put an Elvis costume on and sing in front of a packed hall for the variety school concert. He always made you feel valued. Very sad to hear of Bob's passing. He was a good friend of my parents Noel and Clare from Winton, and a great role model in our formative younger years. I recall Bob and Noel taking us up to Lake Monawai and Rogers Inlet to fish and hunt. Lots of great memories. Also a wild bucks night in the early eighties that founded some legendary memories! A good man and a lot of fun. Ros - so sorry for the loss of a very respected and kind man. Rest in peace.

A song I have sung many times since then in 1979. I am 57 now and he still has my heart. He gave me the confidence to become a singer where i earnt a living for many years raising my boys. He was a beautiful pianist and gutarist and a singer as well. May the angels sweep you to heaven Bob you are deserving of a place there. I am so glad that you were a part of my life and also taught…
