DAVIS, Anthony John (Tony) – Suddenly, on Monday, 09 February 2026, doing what he loved – out on his bike, aged 85 years. Beloved husband of the late Pam, much loved dad of Brian, (Perth), and Carole, and respected second dad of Blair Chettleburgh, deeply adored Grandad of Shevaun, loved Grandad of Shaun and Trent, and great-grandfather.
‘Tony and Pam, together again’
A service to celebrate Tony’s life will be held in the Cromwell and Districts Presbyterian Church, 10 Elspeth Street, Cromwell, on Saturday, February 14, at 1pm. Donations can be left at the service for St John Cromwell. Message to Central Otago Funerals, 16 Ennis Street, Alexandra.

My sister was your Mums carer,Tina but sadly we lost her last June so maybe she’s up there with Pam waiting on Tony! She had a lot of time for your mum and loved her.

Tony was a work good mate from Delta days of 1999 onwards.
We were both involved with Fire Brigade activities, Tony in Cromwell & myself in Cromwell & Roxburgh.
Pam & Tony used to live acroos the road from the Crabbe family In Cromwell, Blyth/Horace Sts.
